Writer's Bloc

Oberlin's defunct long form sketch comedy troupe.

Writer's Bloc really only did one show, but it was so amazing that it still netted them a page on Oberwiki (very impressive, very impressive).

The show structure was patterned after the HBO series Mr. Show, in that all the sketches were linked to one another through transitions. Writer's Bloc also made use of props and a "backstage" area constructed out of sheets, string, clothespins and just a little bit of hope.
