The Big Parade and Festival
The Big Parade is an annual community parade and festival. It is normally held on the first Saturday in May. It is often considered the biggest display of town and college collaboration each year.
The event begins with a march around Tappan Square by both town and college members often bringing giant homemade floats down the street. The parade is followed by post-parade festivities in Tappan Square.
