Substance-Free Living Space

Barnard is a substance-free residence hall. Students have to apply to get in through the program house applications. Residents agree not to use any substances within the building but may decide at hall meetings what the rules are for outside of the building. The community is often composed of students who prefer not to be around ATOD, students who are recovering from substance abuse issues and choose to or are required to live there, and students with allergies.
