Social science department with overlap into the Law and Society and Comparative American Studies programs. Considered a bit of a mixed bag in terms of quality of instruction and depth/flexibility of curriculum. Velkjo Vujacic is generally considered very good, if very theory heavy. Recent retirement of James Leo Walsh leaves a gap in the law curriculum, as well as ends a very popular course called Deviance, Discord and Dismay.
