Sibling Ribaldry

Widely hailed as the Apocalypse Now of Oberlin because of its status as both a highly regarded work of art and a psychologically-scarring ordeal for all of those involved. In the spring of 2002, Peter O'Leary and Peter Cairns launched a joint honors project which incorporated video and semi-improvised live theater and was based on the conventions of the commedia dell'arte. The main plot of the piece revolved around incestuous relationships among a group of siblings (hence the title), as well as a broad satire of the administrative politics of Oberlin College. It was the main event of the 2002 Oberlin College Improv Conference and received extremely positive reviews.
