Rhetoric and Composition

Oberlin’s Rhetoric and Composition department is unique in that it is separate from both the Creative Writing department and the English department. It is a tiny department with only a few classes each semester—along with a Practicum in Journalism, a Tutoring Lab, and Private Readings with each of the five professors.
