Paula Richman

Ms. Richman, Irvin E. Houck Professor in the Humanities, graduated from Oberlin in 1974 and currently is chair (?) of the religion department.

She can be spotted some afternoons in full protective gear, riding her old blue bike southwards from Rice.

I took 231 out of an interest in Hinduism, and both learned a lot and liked the class. You can tell that she really enjoys what she teaches. Though strict, she's very approachable. --alxndr 04:58, 14 Apr 2005 (CDT)
