Everyone's favorite way to avoid work.

Perhaps the easiest way to avoid work. Cannabis, alcohol, cocaine, and Adderall/Ritalin are probably the most commonly used substances on campus. Shrooms, LSD, opium and ecstasy make occasional appearances.

As reported in the 2005 Orientation issue of the Grape, Oberlin was recently ranked the #7 school for smoking pot by the Princeton Review.

Girl Scout cookies are sometimes available from faculty and staff whose daughters belong to local troops.

While Oberlin has a veritable appetite for drugs of all flavors (not to mention high quality liquor and beer), most students consume a mixture of Pabst, brick pack mexican and other cheaper intoxicants. Finding a hit of LSD, an 1/8 of shrooms or their like is quite a good thing indeed. If you are a serious drug conosieur/addict then bring your own or be prepared to live on decent weed and slightly better alcohol until a "shipment" arrives (which of course also requires that you know the right people and have the money).
