Beethoven's Bagels and Creamery
Beethoven's opened in 2009 as Beethoven's Bagels and Creamery. Originally a bagel shop and deli located next to Mickey Mart on Main Street, it was sold to new owners in early 2012 and became Beethoven's Bagels and Don's Pizza.
Beethoven's offers fresh baked bagels ranging from multi grain to Asiago cheese, and specialty cream cheeses blended with fruits, nuts or vegetables. The deli has high quality meats, cheeses, and salads. Beethoven's also serves fresh ground coffee and Frozen custard.
Beethoven's is not to be confused with Brown Bag Co-op, with which it used share its initials. It also isn't the British Broadcasting Corporation.

The bagels are FANTASTIC and cheap. The malt flavored custard is also very good. Gibson's might have business lost since Beethoven's deli is much cleaner and cheaper. meskarune, Sept. 18, 2009
We stopped at Beethoven's Bagels and Creamery over the Thanksgiving weekend after visiting my parents in Avon, Ohio. The Bagels were great. Although it was early in the morning I sampled the custard which was awesome. I wished they were closer to were I live I'd be a very loyal patron. —75.16.233.227 (18:45, 29 November 2009EST)
This place may be called Beethoven's Bagels and Creamery but it has the best corned beef in a 25 mile radius. If this secret gets out you won't be able to find a place to sit! —174.130.86.110 (06:17, 9 January 2010EST)
Beethoven's is fine except weekends. Don't even try to get a bagel after 2 pm on a Saturday or a Sunday - they never make enough. Their service can be slow and infuriating considering it's a bagel place, which you'd think would be quick, but it's never been inhospitable. Bagels size and price are in ratio - small but cheap, which is probably good. Pickles are yummy. Hummus isn't with it. —132.162.92.4 (14:30, 11 April 2010 EDT)
im the owners son and theyre really busy up there i know how it can get pretty insane on the weekends but were trying to make improvements. The wworkers up there aern't fully experienced with working when there is a crowd. thanks for your support. —208.108.102.16 (07:57, 10 December 2010 EST)
Beethoven's is dee-licious! I love their bagels and the service is fantastic. The Olive Oil bagel with veggie cream cheese is my favorite. —132.162.89.255 (10:24, 20 December 2010 EST)
First...being the owner`s son....you need manners, spelling and grammar lessons and some respect for others. The workers bust ass (most all of them)....the owners are not in sight too often....matter of fact neither are you (the owner`s son). The scheduling must be off....the bagel amounts are off...as are other products any given day.....You owe your parent`s employees an apology....but that too, is probably beneath you. —72.23.108.89 (21:40, 20 March 2011 EDT)
i personally will never go back to beethovens. i know how hard most of the employees work, and it might help new employees if the owner was there to teach them what to do, but like the person above me said, they are rarely seen. i know for a fact that one person quit because they found out that the owner took old bagels and put them back on the shelf to sell as new.if you're ever wondering why they are out of something you want, it's probably because the owner decided to pay herself (way too much) instead of buy supplies. —208.93.186.251 (17:45, 22 March 2011 EDT)
Did anyone know that the bagel shop has been & still is up for sale....$263,000....insane. —72.23.108.89 (11:16, 1 April 2011 EDT)
Sold, and now under new ownership.
At least when owned by the Kaswell's Beethoven's shipped in frozen bagels from New York through Sysco leading to their high per-unit costs and repeated cases of freezer burn. While it is possible the new owners are changing their business practices, I would not expect them to use any fresh ingredients in teh sense of non-frozen dough. Buyer beware. --Former employee (not the same one who wrote with all the ... ... ...)
