A fast food restaurant in downtown Oberlin that serves burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and other quasi-Mexican fare. They also serve a variety of alcoholic drinks, including beer, Mexican coffee, tequila, and mojitos, and will serve you a free drink on your birthday. Agave is frequented by Oberlin students and townsfolk looking for a drink or a late-night guacamole fix. Agave also hosts local musicians at Open Mic Night on Thursdays.

The quesadillas are the best thing known to man. Possibly better than sex. —132.162.67.61 (19:38, 11 January 2010EST)

Some of the best coffee on campus in my opinion, good Mexican stuff that has a nice nose-filling aftertaste and goes well with a ciggarette - or not. Not sure if its Fairtrade or note, pretty sure its organic. --189.141.135.101, 25 Jan 2007
Seems too pricey for what you get, and I never feel very satisfied after a meal here, so I've only eaten here a handful of times. They do have some unusual drinks. --Nhorn, 20 Mar 2005
TJ works there, good 'nough for me. --Walker, 20 Mar 2005
After two summers in Albquerque, i think the food at the burrito bar is pretty good - at $5-7 for a meal-sized burrito (or nachos) i think the prices are fine. When i get back to oberlin, ima get me a vegetarian one with the amazingly good roasted veggies. Also, TJVM. --joe, 30 July 2005
If you buy a soft taco for $2.50, you can get a full meal on top of it. The people who work there are sweet as pie and the food doesn't have any hormones or bad policies behind it. It's local and delicious. --Meg, 9 Jan 2006
My favorite place in Oberlin. Sometimes the service can be bad if you go at a weird time, but during the week and normal meal hours it is great. It's nice to know that all the meat is humanely and sustainably procured. --208.66.213.121, 4 Jan 2010
The trick is to not get a burrito; most of their other options are tastier/a better deal. SUPERNACHOS
Their burritos are stuffed to the maximum and it's delicious! Way better then Chiptole or Qdoba. A little pricey, but you definately get your money's worth, plus the fixings and from local farmers.
